Financial Aid

A Delaware Valley University education is within your reach. Our experienced financial aid professionals will guide and assist you through every aspect of the financial aid process.

Welcome to the Delaware Valley University Office of Financial Aid. You can apply for financial aid by creating a Federal Student Aid ID (FSA ID) and then completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). If you are a dependent student, your parent will also need to create an FSA ID of their own to sign your FAFSA. The FAFSA is used by schools to determine your eligibility for Federal, State, and Institutional financial aid programs.

Make sure you add Delaware Valley University’s school code (003252) to the FAFSA so we receive your information. You can and should select to directly import your tax information from the IRS by utilizing the IRS Data Retrieval Tool (DRT.) This tool provides FAFSA applicants and parents with the ability to transfer income tax information directly from the IRS to the FAFSA, eliminating the need to request a tax return transcript from the IRS.

Delaware Valley University’s Office of Financial Aid will receive your FAFSA information electronically. If you are selected for verification by the Federal Government, we will request other documentation from you and/or your parents. This information should be submitted to the Office of Financial Aid as soon as possible.

You must apply for the FAFSA annually as soon as possible after October 1st. First year students can expect to receive their financial aid offers after admittance. Returning students can expect to receive their financial aid offer after spring term grades have been evaluated, and if applicable, your verification process has been completed.
